What You’ll Own
We’re seeking a results-oriented and technically proficient SEO Analyst to lead organic growth initiatives for multi-location consumer healthcare clients. Reporting to the Director of SEO, this role is twofold: first, you will act as the technical specialist responsible for the execution and quality assurance of local SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies. Second, you will serve as a strategic experimenter, developing repeatable SEO programs and A/B testing roadmaps to ensure our clients maintain a competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving search landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical SEO Execution & QA — Own technical SEO audits, indexation, schema, internal linking, and site-health for multi-location healthcare clients. Lead the execution and quality assurance of local SEO work across the portfolio.
- Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — Design and ship Generative Engine Optimization strategies — structuring entity, content, and authority signals so client brands surface inside AI-driven answer experiences.
- Google Business Profile Management — Manage GBP at scale across multi-location footprints: profile hygiene, category strategy, posting cadence, Q&A, and reputation signal optimization.
- SEO/GEO Program Development — Develop repeatable SEO programs and A/B testing roadmaps so each new client engagement standardizes on a proven execution playbook.
- Experimentation & Measurement — Build experiment frameworks that solve for local market saturation, AI Overview presence, and the patient-acquisition funnel from search to booking.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work cross-functionally with development, content, and analytics teams to deliver measurable conversion results — not just rankings.
- Client & Executive Communication — Interface with agency leadership and client C-suites; translate technical SEO/GEO work into clear strategic narratives that PE sponsors and operators can act on.
- Search-Landscape Watchtower — Stay ahead of search-engine algorithm shifts, AI Overview behavior, and emerging GEO patterns; bring those insights back into the agency’s playbooks.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or multi-location consumer environment
- Results-oriented and technically proficient — comfortable with crawl tooling, log analysis, schema markup, and structured data
- Hands-on experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile management across multi-location footprints
- Passion for the intersection of Organic Search and AI; working understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Strong analytical skills — ability to design experiments and tie organic outcomes to conversion results
- Collaborative professional capable of interfacing with agency leadership and client C-suites
- Confident communicator who can translate technical work into clear strategic narrative
- Healthcare or other regulated-vertical SEO experience (HIPAA awareness, restricted-content nuance)
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR integration points and how patient-booking flows affect organic measurement
- Hands-on experience with SEO/GEO measurement tooling (Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal, Yext, Sistrix, etc.)
- Prior experience standing up a repeatable SEO program across a portfolio of accounts
