What You’ll Own
Strategy Collective is seeking an elite Account Strategist to serve as a marketing quarterback and trusted advisor for our private equity-backed healthcare clients. You’ll manage a strictly capped client portfolio, giving you the focused time needed to move beyond order-taking and build a highly compensated, consultative career based on clear revenue milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Client Ownership — Lead client relationships as the primary strategic and operational contact, adhering to strict client caps that protect depth of attention.
- Proactive Growth Pitching — Identify strategic gaps and pitch Statements of Work (SOWs) before the client requests them, expanding the engagement on outcomes rather than asks.
- Client Discovery & Insight — Understand each client’s business goals, market dynamics, and growth priorities deeply enough to shape custom marketing strategies that fit their stage.
- Integrated Plan Development — Develop and present integrated marketing plans across digital, content, and offline channels with clear KPIs tied to revenue milestones.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration — Collaborate with in-house experts in media, creative, web, and analytics to deliver cohesive execution across every workstream.
- Performance Analysis & Storytelling — Monitor campaign performance, extract insights, and deliver data-driven recommendations that translate metrics into board-level narrative.
- Executive Trust Building — Build trust with physician leaders, COOs, and PE sponsors with clear, confident counsel grounded in the unit economics of their platform.
- Initiative Launch Leadership — Guide new initiative launches (new locations, service line expansions, M&A rollouts) from planning through implementation across the full digital stack.
- Voice of the Client Internally — Act as the voice of the client internally to ensure alignment on priorities, tone, and messaging across every team touching the account.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a client-facing agency or consultancy role
- Experience developing and communicating marketing strategy — not just executing someone else’s
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics
- Demonstrated ability to own client relationships as a trusted marketing advisor
- Confident communicator — able to write, present, and advise with clarity and authority
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple client programs simultaneously
- Proficient in marketing analytics and performance reporting tools
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Healthcare experience, especially with multi-site provider groups or PE-backed organizations
- Experience with PE-backed or portfolio company environments and reporting to sponsors
- HubSpot, CallRail, Liine, or Smartsheet platform proficiency
- MBA or advanced degree
